A skill for designing analytics implementations that produce actionable insight, not a graveyard of unused events. It works backwards from the decisions data should inform, lays out a tracking plan with consistent event naming (object_action, lowercase, no PII), and ships GA4, GTM, and UTM strategies that survive contact with engineering. Outputs include a structured tracking plan document, custom dimensions, conversion definitions, and a validation checklist. Use it any time someone says "set up tracking," "GA4," "conversion tracking," "event tracking," "UTM parameters," "tag manager," "GTM," "analytics implementation," "tracking plan," "are my events firing," or "analytics isn't working." It covers the essential events for marketing sites and product apps, GTM data-layer patterns, debug workflows in DebugView and Preview Mode, and privacy posture (consent mode, IP anonymization, retention) for EU/UK/CA compliance.
